Baker Purdon has been invited to present at numerous conferences throughout the United States and internationally and is actively developing multiple research studies focusing on the Imposter Phenomenon in various aspects of music education.

 

Current research projects include the Adolescent Choral Imposter Phenomenon Scale (ACIPS), continued exploration of choral music from Black Composers, the choral music of Harry T. Burleigh, and other ABDEI topics in choral music and music education.
